Volunteer Voices is a state-wide digitization project that will provide access to primary sources that document Tennessee's rich history and culture.

Volunteer Voices provides access to digitized primary sources, such as photographs, letters, diaries, oral histories, and other artifacts, documenting the history and culture of Tennessee. The collection includes materials from archives, historical societies, libraries, and museums from across the state. The original database for Volunteer Voices: The Growth of Democracy in Tennessee was funded by a National Leadership Grant (2005-2008) from the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
